Writer Natsuki Ikezawa (77) has published his third historical novel, Until the Day We Meet Again (Asahi Shimbun Publishing). The main character is Toshio Akiyoshi, the older brother (great uncle) of his paternal grandmother. The history of Japan during and after the war is depicted through the life of Akiyoshi, who lived from the Meiji period to the postwar period.

You are going against "Thou shalt not kill". You must have been very worried. How did you come to terms with the three personalities?
